HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover Participates in a Symposium in Monaco.

On November 23, 2015, Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover, as President of AMADE Mondiale, participated in a symposium held under the theme, L’adoption Nationale et Internationale, in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.

Last month’s meeting was organized by the Gouvernement Princier Département des Relations and Coopération.

HSH Princess Stephanie of Monaco Attends a Charity Auction.

On the evening of December 1, 2015, Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie of Monaco accompanied by her son, Mr. Louis Ducruet, and Mr. and Mrs. Pierre Casiraghi, attended the Fight AIDS Monaco charity auction held at the Hôtel Méridien in Monte-Carlo.

During last Tuesday’s event over €339,000 was raised to help fight against HIV and AIDS.

On November 27, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, as President of the  Fédération Monégasque d’Atlétisme (FMA), arrived at the Fairmont Hotel in Monte-Carlo to celebrate the “…first place ranking of the Herculis Meeting 2015…” according to the official website for the FMA.

HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco Opens an Exhibition in Monaco-ville.

On November 28, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco opened the exhibition, Linked, at the Musée Océanographique de Monaco in Monaco-ville.

The exhibition, organized by the Cerny Inuit Collection, displays contemporary Inuit works that combine art and science and will also help to raise awareness of this issue.  Linked also emphasizes the interdependence of different cultures and the urgent need to reach international agreement in order to combat climate change effectively.

Linked will be open to the public until February 26, 2016 at the Musée Océanographique de Monaco.

(VIDEO) HSH Prince Albert II Witnesses a Signing of a Declaration.

On the evening of November 29, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco witnessed the signing of Because the Ocean, a declaration on ocean and climate change in Paris, France.

The high-level meeting and signing agreement was organized by the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco, the Global Ocean Commission, the Institute of Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI), Government of France, the Government of Chile, and the French scientific organization Tara Expeditions.

Signed by ten other countries, the declaration provides for the creation of a special report on the ocean, respect for the Sustainable Development Goal No. 14, and the appointment of a working group, Ocean, under the auspices of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

(VIDEOS) Royals Arrive in Paris for the Opening of the COP21.

On Monday, November 30, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, His Majesty King Carl Gustaf of Sweden, and His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid of Morocco, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani of Qatar, and His Highness Shaikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa of Bahrain attended the opening of the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference COP21 in Paris, France.

Government officials, intergovernmental organizations, UN agencies, NGOs, and world leaders including the President of the United States, Mr. Barack Obama, and the President of Russia, Mr. Vladimir Putin, attended today’s important conference.

The overall goal of the twelve-day COP21 conference is to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement on climate, with the aim of keeping global warming below 2°C.

HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco Participates in a Symbolic Walk for Peace.

On the evening of November 25, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco participated in the 2015 Peace and Sport Walk in Monte-Carlo.  Dozens of individuals including various political leaders and state representatives from around the world participated in Wednesday night’s walk.

The event, which began at the Place du Casino to the forecourt of the Grimaldi Forum, was held ahead of the opening of the 8th Edition of the International Peace and Sport Forum.
