On Tuesday, May 28, 2013, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon of Norway participated in the 2013 Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development Forum held at the OECD Conference Center in Paris, France.
During today’s opening session the heir to the Norwegian throne gave a keynote speech along with the Secretary-General of the OECD, Mr. Angel Gurría. In the afternoon, Crown Prince Haakon along with ten other speakers participated in a roundtable discussion held under the theme, Food for Thought: The Power of One.
On May 18, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia arrived at the ancient city of Viminacium (once the “…capital of the Roman province of Moesia Superior” and now a major archeological site) to attend the opening of the exhibition, Constantine the Great and the Edict of Milan 313: The Birth of Christianity in the Roman Provinces on the Territory of Serbia.

On Sunday, May 12, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales continued his visit to Colorado and today the popular prince visited the United States Air Force Academy football training center in Colorado Springs, CO.

Last year the British magazine, i-D, visited Monaco to interview Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover regarding Her Serene Highness the late Princess Grace of Monaco. The magazine also interviewed students “… who participated in the creation of the exhibition about the late princess at the Nouveau Musèe National de Monaco.”
On January 31, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Marie of Denmark was at the Kongelige Danske Videnskabernes Selskab (Royal Danish Academy of Sciences) in Copenhagen to present the UNESCO and L’Oréal Denmark scholarships to woman in science.
According to the Danish royal court the scholarships:
“…for Women in Science was created by L’Oréal Denmark with the support of the Danish National Commission for UNESCO and the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences. The grants are intended to encourage women to pursue their scientific careers after they have obtained their PhD.”
The goal is to create a better balance between women and men in the world of research, because an equal distribution of the sexes creates more diverse approaches, more dynamic and thus better research.”
On Tuesday, January 29, 2013, His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex officially inaugurated the new “…state-of-the-art learning and teaching building, St. Alphege…” at the University of Winchester.
During the inauguration the Earl of Wessex unveiled a new plaque, toured the new building as well as met with the university staff and students.
