Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II of Jordan is Engaged! UPDATED: With Detailed Information about Mr. Jameel “Jimmy” Alexander Thermiotis.

On the morning of Wednesday, July 6, 2022, the Royal Hashemite Court announced the engagement of Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II of Jordan to Mr. Jameel “Jimmy” Alexander Thermiotis.

On Tuesday, July 2, the couple announced their engagement to their families including Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II of Jordan, His Royal Highness Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II of Jordan, and Her Royal Highness Princess Salma bint Abdullah II of Jordan, and members of Mr. Thermiotis’ family.

After the announcement was made, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan released a statement:

“Congratulations my dearest Iman; your smile has always been a gift of love that I’ve cherished since the day you were born. I wish you and Jameel a life filled with love and laughter!”

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II of Jordan also made a statement regarding his sister’s engagement:

“Warmest congratulations to my dear sister Iman and to her fiancé Jameel on their engagement. I wish you a lifetime of happiness together.”

Born on September 27, 1996, in Amman, Jordan, Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II of Jordan is the eldest daughter of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah II of Jordan.

At this time, there is little information about Mr. Thermiotis. According to the newspapers, Al Arabiya and the Jordan Times, Mr. Thermiotis was born in 1994 in Caracas, Venezuela. He is of Greek and Hispanic descent.

Mr. Jameel (Jimmy) Alexander Thermiotis is the Partner/Co-Founder of Outbound Ventures LLC, a private equity and venture capital firm in New York City, New York.

Established in 2015, Outbound Ventures LLC is a finance company with “…an estimated 5 employees. Their management level is C-Level. With a revenue of $1.1 million.“

In 2016, Mr. Jameel “Jimmy” Alexander Thermiotis graduated from Florida International University in Miami, Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business.

After graduating from university, Mr. Thermiotis, worked at DPM, an asset management firm based in New York City, from 2016-2018.

From 2018-2020, Mr. Thermiotis was employed with the company, AMARLA, as the Head of Business Development with its headquarters in Athens, Greece. The company is one of the largest boutique retailers operating in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Thermiotis is the son of Ms. Corina Hernández Pérez Rendiles and Mr. George Alexander Thermiotis Filesari of Caracas, Venezuela. He has two siblings, Alejandro and Alexia.

At this time, Her Majesty has mild symptoms.

Her Majesty Queen Letizia’s engagements for the rest of the week have been canceled at this time.

HRH Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg Attends the 39th Edition of the Ettelbruck Agricultural Fair

On Friday, July 1, 2022, His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg attended the opening of the 39th Edition of the Ettelbruck Agricultural Fair held at the Däichwisen in Ettelbruck.

Held under the theme, Luxembourg Agriculture: Tradition with a Future, the three-day fair will house 250 exhibitors and 500 animals. According to a press release, the Ettelbruck Agricultural Fair has become the:

“…essential meeting point for all professionals in the green sector for farmers, foresters, horticulturists, trade, scientific research in agro-biotechnology. Particular emphasis is placed on the presentation of Luxembourg products and raising consumer awareness of the discovery of regional products.”

During today’s opening, Grand Duke Henri visited various exhibitors, mingled with visitors, ate delicious food and overall had a wonderful time.

His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain Meets with Participants of the XVII Edición de La Fundación Jóvenes Líderes de La Carolina

On Friday, July 1, 2022, His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain met with 25 young leaders of the XVII Edición de La Fundación Jóvenes Líderes de La Carolina (17th Edition of the Fundacion Carolina’s Young Ibero-American Leaders Program) at Palacio de La Zarzuela in Madrid.

Organized by the Fundación Carolina and Banco Santander, the 25 young people were selected to participate in conferences, meetings and visits to institutions and companies in Madrid, Bilbao, and Brussels, for two weeks, which will allow them to carry out a deep immersion in the Spanish and European realities, which take place from June 26 through July 10, 2022.

According to the Spanish royal court, the 17th Edición de La Fundación Jóvenes Líderes de La Carolina addresses, debates, and reflects on the challenges after the pandemic in Spain, the European Union as well as in Latin America, and the Caribbean:

“…the triple ecological, productive and digital, and social transition, based on a new pact with citizens, which also incorporates future generations and their rights, and aims to reactivate the mobilization of societies within the framework of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.”

HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco Attends the 19th Edition of the Mediterranean Games.

On the early evening of June 29, 2022, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived in Oran, Alergia for a two-day visit to attend the 19th Edition of the Mediterranean Games.

Upon his arrival at the Ahmed Ben Bella International Airport in Oran, the sovereign prince was warmly welcomed by the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Mr. Ramtane Lamamra, who wished him on behalf of the President of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune. He also wish Prince Albert II a pleasant stay in El Bahia.

In turn, Prince Albert II expressed his warmest gratitude to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune for this kind invitation. The sovereign prince also congratulated Algeria, people and government, for the excellent organization and the great success of the 19th Edition of the Mediterranean Games.

On June 30, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Letizia of Spain hosted an outing at the Teatro Real in Madrid for the first wives and companions participating in the 32nd NATO Summit.

Upon her arrival, Her Majesty was warmly welcomed by the President of the Board of Trustees of the Teatro Real Foundation, Mr. Gregorio Marañón, and the Director of the Teatro Real, Mr. Ignacio García-Belenguer.

Thereafter, the first wives and companions arrived including the First Lady of the Republic of France, Her Excellency Brigitte Macron and the husband of the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, His Excellency Gauthier Christian Destenay to name a few.

After a photo-op on the Teatro Real stage, Her Majesty along with her guests proceeded to the Falla Hall where they had breakfast with representatives from the Teatro Real.

In the afternoon, Her Majesty Queen Letizia and her guests arrived in the Grand Ballroom, to watch a concert by singer, Mr. Kiki Morente and watched the rehearsal of the opera, Nabucco.
