On March 12, 2013, His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg held an audience at the Palais Grand-Ducale with the “…Chairperson of the 9th Saeima of the Republic of Latvia…” Ms. Solvita Aboltina.

On Thursday, March 7, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg visited the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium.

According to the Cour Grande-Ducal the royal couple met with “…the President of the European Commission, Mr. José Manuel Barroso, the Vice-President of the European Commission in Charge of Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, Ms. Viviane Reding and other European Commission officials.”

According to the newspaper, Wort, last week Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg met with members of the Luxembourg Air Rescue (LAR).  During their visit the future grand duke and grand duchess of Luxembourg “…toured the LAR facilities and were given an insight into the daily work of Luxembourg’s fourth emergency service.”

On January 29, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duchess Maria Teresa and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg visited the Maisons d’Enfants de l’Etat in Schifflange.

During their visit the grand duchess and hereditary grand duchess were given a tour of the children’s home, met with staff and much more.

 Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg visited Doneck Euroflex in Grevenmacher on January 28, 2013.

According to the Cour Grande-Ducale the royal couple were “… given a tour of the facility, attended a presentation of the various activities by company, and attended a reception…” held in their honor.

On Wednesday, January 23, 2013, Her Royal Highness Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg, as President of the Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchesse, participated in a roundtable discussion with students from the Ècole Sainte-Anne in Ettelbrück.

According to the Cour Grand-Ducale, the grand duchess along with professors and students discussed:

“…the three themes of the respective welfare/assistance in Luxembourg , the Projet de la Main Tendue in Burundi and microcredit.  This roundtable is part of the project ‘Staark Fraen’ initiated by the school under the theme of  Equality of Opportunity.”
