On November 2, 2011, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, H.R.H. Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje, and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands continued their ten-day official visit to the Caribbean this afternoon and once again the royal trio visited the island of Curaçao.
Whilst there they visited the village of Barber where they met many friendly locals who cheered them on as they mingled with the crowds. Then it was off to a nursing school where Her Majesty Queen Beatrix spoke to the students regarding their studies and so forth.

On November 1, 2011, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, H.R.H. Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje, and H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands arrived on the island of Curaçao for a visit.
Upon their arrival at the Juan Hato airport, the royal trio were greeted by Minister-President Gerrit Fransisco Schotte as well as other local dignitaries. After a meeting at Fort Amsterdam Her Majesty Queen Beatrix, H.R.H. Prince Willem-Alexander of , and H.R.H. Princess Maxima visited the Princess Margriet School and an education center for “…horeca students…”

On October 31, 2011, H.M. Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, H.R.H. Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands visited the island of Bonaire.
During their visit the royal trio were met by a small group of protesters who claimed that life on the island has become too expensive and the facilities on the island are deteriorating. When asked by reporters what she, Queen Beatrix, thought of these demonstrations she noted that she was sympathetic to their situation, but there is little she could do.

On October 28, 2011, H.M. Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, H.R.H. Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje, and H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands began their first full day of activities in Oranjestad, Aruba.
This morning the royal trio did a walkabout in the lovely Caribbean country where they were greeted by thousands of locals waving flags and singing. Later in the afternoon, they will meet with local dignitaries as well as attend a reception in their honor.

On October 27, 2011, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, H.R.H. Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje, and H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands arrived in Aruba to begin their ten-day official visit to the Netherlands Antilles.
On October 26, 2011, T.R.H.s Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands attended the Development in Business conference in Amsterdam this afternoon. The purpose of the conference is “… to expand the cooperation development between the government and industry.”

On October 25, 2011, H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands opened a new building, Oecumenisch Diaconaal Centrum Stem, in Haarlem. Apparently, the old building had become too small for the many activities and services provided to those in need so they built a new one. To view photos please click hereandhere.
