On March 27, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh arrived at the Lloyd’s of London building in London.
According to AFP News, the purpose of today’s royal visit was:
“…to commemorate the market’s 325th anniversary. [During their visit Her Majesty and the duke] toured the Underwriting Room, met brokers and underwriters and members of Lloyd’s Patriotic Charitable fund and viewed displays of memorabilia.”

On the morning of March 27, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, in her capacity as the United Nations Secretary General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development, gave a speech during the 4th Morningstar Investment Conference Europe in Amsterdam.
According to RVD, Morningstar provides:
“…investors with independent information on stocks and mutual funds. Listeners include top executives from other European pension funds, insurance companies, banks and asset managers.
Following her speech, Her Majesty participated in a panel discussion [entitled], ‘Financial Stewardship 2014 and Beyond.’ An international panel addresses the question of how investment can win back the confidence of investors and how their social role may be fulfilled even better.”

On March 24, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte-Carlo, Monaco to give a keynote speech during the 2014 Euro-Mediterranean Energy Efficiency Forum (EEF).
Held under the theme, Targeting Efficiency for Economic Recovery, Committing to Growth, the EEF is an “…event that promotes an energy efficiency ethic through the presentation of national and worldwide views on energy efficiency and the resulting impact on the environment, national security and economic growth…”
On the evening of March 25, 2014, the sovereign prince attended the Climate Group’s 10th anniversary gala dinner held at the Hôtel de Paris in Monte-Carlo.
On Thursday, March 27, 2014, Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan visited the Saikū Historical Museum in Meiwa-cho in the Mie Prefecture.
On Wednesday, March 26, 2014, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall visited the St. Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne, East Sussex. The lovely duchess also visited the “…new Wine Research Centre at Plumpton College…” according to the Associated Press.

On March 26, 2014, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden arrived at the Folkets Hus in Stockholm to attend the 2014 Hjärnans Dag. The future queen of Sweden is patron of the Hjärnfonden.
