On June 4, 2014, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Asturias arrived at the Monasterio de San Salvador de Leyre in Navarra, Spain, to attend the 2014 Premio Príncipe de Viana de la Cultura and Homenaje a los Reyes de Navarra (Homage to the Kings of Navarra).
The winner of the 2014 Premio Príncipe de Viana de la Cultura went to well-known historian, Tarsicio de Azcona, O.F.M.Cap.
On Wednesday, June 4, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall attended the 2014 State Opening of Parliament in the House of Lords at the Palace of Westminster in London.
Today’s important event: “…marks the formal start of the parliamentary year and the Queen’s Speech sets out the government’s agenda for the coming session, outlining proposed policies and legislation.
It is the only regular occasion when the three constituent parts of Parliament – the Sovereign, the House of Lords and the House of Commons – meet.”

On Tuesday, June 3, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Marie of Denmark arrived in Odense to attend the Syddansk Universitets Erhvervsdag (University of Southern Denmark’s Business Day).
On the evening of June 3, 2014, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands hosted a gala dinner at Paleis Het Loo in Apeldoorn in honor of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco’s official visit to The Netherlands.
On Monday, June 2, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan met with a group women from the North-Eastern Badia.
According to Petra News, during yesterday’s visit: “…[Her Majesty] welcomed the opportunity to meet the diverse group of women from the Northeastern Badia which houses several military, educational and vocational facilities.
She also praised the humanitarian efforts of the residents in helping Syrian refugees in the area. Her Majesty then shed light on the importance of quality education and online learning to provide all Jordanians with the best education available…”
On June 3, 2014, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the opening of the exhibition, Grace Kelly: Prinses en Stijlicoon, at the Paleis Het Loo in Apeldoorn.
According to the official website for the Paleis Het Loo the exhibition presents:
