On Friday, January 24, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium, Archduchess of Austria-Este and His Imperial and Royal Highness Prince Lorenz of Belgium, Archduke of Austria-Este, arrived at the headquarters of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) in Brussels.
The purpose today’s visit to the EORTC was to attend a ceremony in which Princess Astrid ceded as Honorary President of the EORTC Charitable Trust to His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco according to the Belgian royal court.
Recently, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the inauguration of Mr. Jean-Jacques Pangrazi’s photo exhibition entitled, Arctic Feelings, at the Galerie des Pêcheurs in Monaco.
On the evening of Thursday, January 23, 2014, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales arrived at the Royal Courts of Justice in London to attend The Prince’s Trust Leadership reception.
On January 23, 2014, His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan gave a lecture at the Gakushuin Women’s College in Shinjuku, Tokyo. During his hour and a half lecture the future emperor spoke about “…Heian Era and powerful Saionji aristocratic family…” or something like that. Sorry. 😦
On January 23, 2014, His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex arrived at the Leys School in Cambridge to “…officially open the new£10m Great Hall…” according to Cambridge Online News.

On Thursday, January 23, 2014, Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway visited Lærdalsøyri in Sogn og Fjordane county. Last Saturday, a fire broke out in the village “…damaging more than 30 historic wooden buildings and 16 homes…” according to the BBC and Sky News.
During their visit Their Majesties met with rescue workers, residents and toured the fire damaged area.
