On Friday, September 14, 2012 His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje was in Vlissingen to attend the opening of the “… 14th International Film Festival ‘Film by the Sea’…”
And, finally, this morning, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands were in Wassenaar to participate in the opening of the Dunea water company’s new visitor center.
According to RVD, the new center offers information about the process of water collection, purification, distribution, and “… information on water abstraction in the dunes and nature.”

It has been 30 years since the late Her Serene Highness Princess Grace of Monaco has passed. This evening her only son, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, attended a screening of the film, To Catch a Thief, held at the Théâtre Princesse Grace.
The Blue Ray version of the film has been “… newly remastered in honor of Paramount Picture’s 100th anniversary…” and of course for the late Princess Grace. Yesterday, there was a gala tribute to the late princess held inside the Salle Empire room at the Hôtel de Paris.

On September 13, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Kranji Commonwealth War Cemetery in Singapore prior to their departure to Malaysia.
Afterward, the royal couple arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport where they were warmly greeted by British High Commissioner as well as by members of the government of Malaysia.
Soon, the royal couple were whisked off to the Prime Minister of Malaysia’s residence where they attended a luncheon held in their honor. Later the duke and duchess visited where they met with patients, unveiled a plaque and more.
In the evening a gala dinner was held, once again, in their honor at Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah residence.

On September, 13, 2012, Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias attended the V of Life and the 2012 Aid for Cancer Research Awards in Córdoba, Spain.
“This year the winners include Dr. Mariano Barbacid, for his work in the field of Molecular Oncology and the Ausonia company…” to name a few.

On Thursday, September 13, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain was at the Biblioteca Nacional España in Madrid to attend the opening of an exhibition by the late photographer, Mr. Juan Gyenes, entitled, Gyenes: Maestro Fotógrafo.
According to the official site for the royal house of Spain the exhibition is “… divided into five sections…” The exhibition showcases Mr. Gyenes personal items such as “… cameras, medals and decorations… “ and more.
Meanwhile, at Palacio de la Zarzuela, His Majesty King Juan Carlos I held audiences with the Ibero-American Secretary General, Mr. Enrique Iglesias, the Governing Board of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs from Algeria, Mr. Mourad Medelci.
