On Monday, October 29, 2012, His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain held an audience with the Presidentes de Organizaciones Empresariales Iberoamericanas at Palacio de La Zarzuela.
Meanwhile, Infanta Elena attended the opening of the new temporary exhibition entitled, Goya y el Infante Don Luis: El Exilio y el Reino, at the Exhibition Hall at Palacio Real.
The exhibition features 300 pieces, including seventeen works by Francisco de Goya, as well as Luis Paret and Mariano Salvador Maella to name a few.
The two-day conference was organized by the Netherlands-African Business Council (NABC) and African Studies Centre (ASC) in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs according to RVD.
The Africa Works! conference focuses on “…Africa’s position in the world, and looks at the opportunities for African and Dutch entrepreneurs and investors.”
On July 28, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Tupouto’a ‘Ulukalala and Crown Princess Sinaitakala Tuku’aho Fakafanua of Tonga were presented with the “…Knight and Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Order of Francis I…” in an investiture ceremony in London.
