Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands Officially Opens the Cultuur Kwartier Sneek. (VIDEO)

On Thursday, November 1, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands officially opened the newly restored Cultuur Kwartier Sneek in the “… historic city center of Sneek.”

According to RVD, the Cultuur Kwartier Sneek consists of an art center,  music venue, and a new theater designed by Dutch architect, Mr. Max van Huut.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Attends the 6th Edition of the Peace and Sport International Forum.

On October 31, 2012 His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the 6th Edition of the Peace and Sport International Forum in Sochi, Russia.

Per a press release:

“Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, the Peace and Sport International Forum is a unique annual summit bringing together hundreds of guests and delegates. 

Hosted for the first time outside Monaco in the future Olympic City of Sochi, situated at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and the Middle East, the 6th Edition of the Peace and Sport International Forum promises to be more multinational than ever.

On October 31, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh welcomed Indonesian President, Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and First Lady Ani Yudhoyono, to London.  President Yudhoyono was invited by Her Majesty for a three-day state visit.

In a press conference prior to his departure President Yudhoyono noted that he will hold an audience with His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales as well as with other “… senior British officials… “ including Prime Minister David Cameron.
