On January 30, 1968 Felipe Juan Pablo Alfonso de Todos los Santos de Borbón y de Grecia was born to HM King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia of Spain.
Born in Madrid, Spain he is the only son to King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia and heir to the Spanish throne. Prince Felipe has two sisters, Infanta Elena and Infanta Cristina. After he graduated from Lakefield College in Ontario, Canada the Prince was accepted to the Autonomous University. From there he earned his Master of Science at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Prince Felipe is fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Catalan.
On May 22, 2004, he married the beautiful Spanish newscaster, Letizia Ortiz in a lavish ceremony at the Cathedral Santa María la Real de la Almudena inMadrid, Spain. Today the couple have two daughters, Infanta Leonor and Infanta Sofia.
It is unknown how the Prince will celebrate his day, but I have no doubt in my mind he ill spend part of it with his family and friends.
So, happy birthday Prince Felipe! 🙂
