His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden Visits the Halmstad Garrison

On Thursday, June 9, 2022, His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden visited the Air Defense Regiment, the Swedish Armed Forces Technical School, and Halmstad Military Academy at the Halmstad Garrison in Halmstad.

Upon his arrival, Prince Carl Philip was welcomed by Colonel Mikael Beck of the Air Defense Regiment, the head of the Swedish Armed Forces’ Technical Schools, Colonel Anders von Sydow, and the head of Halmstad Military Academy, Colonel Fredrik Zetterberg.

After formal greetings, the prince visited the Air Defense Regiment where he watched a demonstration of the Robot System 98 and new Air Defense Systems 103 (aka the Patriot System).

Afterward, Prince Carl Philip visited the Swedish Armed Forces’ Technical School where he met with students and teachers.

The day ended with a visit to the Halmstad Military Academy where Prince Carl Philip watched a presentation of the training system for reserve officers.

HRH Prince Carl Philip of Sweden Presents Awards at the Textile Museum in Borås.

On the evening of Monday, May 30, 2022, His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden presented an award during the Arts and Business Award Ceremony held at the Textile Museum in Borås.

According to the Swedish royal court, the recipient of the award went to:

“…the autumn holiday event, Rys and Cozy in Varberg. The event offers families with children an outdoor experience where visitors can wander around between light installations in central Varberg. The project is a collaboration between Halland’s Cultural History Museum, Varberg Energi AB, and the Varberg municipality.”

HRH Prince Carl Philip of Sweden Celebrates Veterans Day in Stockholm.

On Sunday, May 29, 2022, His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden participated in the celebration of Veterans Day 2022 held at the veterans’ monument, Restare, located next to the Maritime History Museum in Stockholm.

During the celebrations, Prince Carl Philip laid a wreath at the Veterans Monument as well as medaled military personnel who were awarded the Swedish Armed Forces Medal for Wounded in Battle and the Swedish Armed Forces’ Medal of Merit.

On the evening of Saturday, April 2, 2022, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden attended the Hela Sverige Skramlar benefit concert held at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm.

Tonight’s concert features some of the most famous Swedish artists including Veronica Maggio, Per Gessle, Eva Dahlgren, The Hives, Cornelia Jakobs, Gina Dirawi, Amason, Peter Jöback, Malena Ernman, Melissa Horn, Wilmer X, Johnossi, Miriam Bryant, Ola Salo, Benjamin Ingrosso, Sarah Dawn Finer, Imenella, Darin, Jakob Hellman, and more.

All proceeds raised during tonight’s concert will be donated to the Röda Korset (Swedish Red Cross), Proliska, UN Women Sweden, Fight for Right, Civil Rights Defenders and the Media Initiative for Human Rights to aid those in need in Ukraine.

His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden Attends a Tasting Competition.

On Monday, March 14, 2022, His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden attended a menu tasting competition ahead of the world-famous Bocuse d’Or Europe which will take place in Budapest, Hungary beginning on March 23-24, 2022.

During yesterday’s event, Prince Carl Philip met with members of Team Sweden including Chef Jimmi Eriksson, team coach Mr. Martin Brag, Ms. Thilda Mårtensson, and the President of Sweden Bocuse d’Or, Mr. Tommy Myllymäki.
