On Monday, July 4, 2022, Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain participated in a meeting with members of the Advisory Council of the Fundación Princesa de Girona at the Palacete Albéniz in Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Her Royal Highness Princess Leonor, Princess of Asturias and of Girona, and Her Royal Highness Princess Sofia of Spain attended a coding workshop by the CEO of Code.org, Mr. Hadi Partovi, for young people of the Princess of Girona Foundation.

In the afternoon, Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Leonor of Asturias and Girona and Her Royal Highness Princess Sofia of Spain presided over the 2022 Fundación Princesa de Girona Awards ceremony held at the Ágora Auditorium in Cornellà de Llobregat in Barcelona.

The recipients of the Fundación Princesa de Girona Awards will receive 20,000 Euros and a trophy designed by Mr. Juan Zamora.
