On Thursday, June 30, 2022, Her Royal Highness Princess Elisabeth of Belgium inaugurated the Princess Elisabeth Additive Manufacturing Laboratory at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Catholic University of Leuven in Leuven.

After the opening, Princess Elisabeth was given a tour of the new state-of-the-art research facility as well as met with various professors and faculty.
