TRHs Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark Visit the Netherlands.

On Monday, June 20, 2022, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark began their two-day working visit to the Netherlands.

The purpose of the visit is to lead a Danish business delegation of, “…29 companies to the Netherlands and to the Danish export promotion themed, ‘ Partnering for Green and Smart Solutions.’ ”

The day began with Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary along with the Dutch Prime Minister, Mr. Mark Rutte, participating in the conference entitled, Partnering for Green and Smart Solutions, held at the  New Babylon Conference Center in Den Haag. During the conference, Crown Prince Frederik gave the opening speech.

Thereafter, Crown Prince Frederik participated in the seminar entitled, Offshore Wind and Power-to-X, which began with a panel discussion on “…how to use the technology of time to store the surplus energy that comes from offshore windmills in the North Sea, which both the Netherlands and Denmark share the coast with…” according to the Danish royal court.

Meanwhile, Crown Princess Mary officially opened the seminar entitled, HealthTech and MedTech, whereupon she gave a welcome speech. The Crown Princess, thereafter, participated in a panel discussion regarding “…digitalization in the health sector.” The crown princess also visited the Royal Academy of Art where students work with sustainable textiles and green transition.

In the afternoon, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visited the Peace Palace in Den Haag.

In the evening, the crown princely couple accompanied by Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands attended an official dinner at the Grote Kerk in Den Haag.
