On Saturday, June 18, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark attended the re-premiere of Svinedrengen (The Swineherd), a ballet rendition of H.C. Anderson’s classic fairytale, held at the Pantomime Theater at Tivoli in Copenhagen.

In 2009, Her Majesty was the set designer in collaboration with choreographer, Ms. Dinna Bjørn and composer, Mr. James Price, for The Swineherd.

Over the years, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II has been the set designer for many ballet performances including Cinderella, The Nutcracker, and The Snow Queen to name a few.
