On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 14, 2022, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark attended the reopening of the Designmuseum Denmark in Copenhagen.
After an extensive two-year renovation of the historic 18th-century building, which includes 2,500 square meters of newly laid marble floors, newly restored facade decorations, and a major climate adaptation, the Designmuseum Denmark is ready to welcome guests again.
Upon his arrival, Crown Prince Frederik was warmly welcomed by the Museum Director, Ms. Anne-Louise Sommer, and the Designmuseum Denmark Chairman of the Board, Mr. Henrik Tvarnø.
Once inside the museum, the heir to the Danish throne was given a tour of the newly restored museum and viewed various exhibitions. Thereafter, Crown Prince Frederik attended a reception at the Grønnegården (museum garden) whereupon he gave a speech.
