On Thursday, June 2, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark continued her annual summer cruise aboard the royal yacht Dannebrog. This morning, Her Majesty visited the island of Anholt in the Norddjurs municipality.

Upon her arrival, Her Majesty attended a reception at the Town Hall and was presented with a gift from a local artist, Ms. Nana Kristine Bryder. Her Majesty was then introduced to the Board of Anholt Citizens’ Association and representatives from Norddjurs municipal board.

Thereafter, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II visited a nature preserve, attended a luncheon, and sat down for coffee with several of the island’s residents.
