On Friday, May 27, 2022, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the launch of the Grace Influential Impact Award, in partnership with Formula 1, aboard the Azzurra II yacht in Port Hercule, Monaco.

The Grace Influential Award is a newly-created annual distinction that will be awarded to a Formula 1 team or Formula 1 related organization that demonstrates the highest commitment to positive impact through sustainability, impact, and inclusion, and a philanthropic “Spirit of Grace” during the course of each racing season.

According to a press release, the Grace Influential Award is:

“…named for and inspired by Her Serene Highness Princess Grace of Monaco in honor of her commitment to excellence, the global culture of philanthropy she ignited from Monaco, and the enduring example she set, as an iconic global leader, for positive impact.

Grace Influential recognizes Formula 1’s commitment to and investment in pioneering technology and innovation toward sustainability, philanthropic initiatives, and positive societal impact. The Grace Influential Impact Award celebrates the Formula 1 team or Formula 1 related organization which best embodies these values and strives to make the world a better place.”
