On Monday, May 16, 2022, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden opened the Swedish Climate Symposium: Showcasing Sweden’s Contribution to Climate Research held at the Louis De Geers Konsert & Kongress in Norrköping.

Organized by the BECC and MERGE, the Bolin Center for Climate Research and SMHI, the three-day Swedish Climate Symposium will bring together leading researchers and experts in the field of science and climate research.

The purpose of the symposium is to highlight the cutting edge and breadth that exists in Swedish climate research. Moreover, the conference will offer an opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experience, both within the academy and between the academy and the surrounding society.
