On Thursday, May 12, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium presided over the 2022 Queen Mathilde Fund Prize held at the Palais Royal in Brussels.
During this morning’s ceremony, Her Majesty presented the prize to, Brake-Out, a non-profit organization based in Antwerp that is committed to helping young people with intellectual disabilities “…so that they can develop their talents and find a place in the labor market more easily…” writes the Belgian newspaper, VRT.
The Queen Mathilde Fund Prize provides specific professional support to young people and socially vulnerable children wishing to provide solutions to local challenges and encourage entrepreneurship. Along with the prestige of the Queen Mathilde Fund Prize, the recipients also received a check for 10,000 Euros.
