On Friday, May 6, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark hosted a reception at Fredensborg Slot for new ambassadors from Vietnam, Spain, Zimbabwe, Poland and the tiny nation of San Marino.

Each of the “…ambassadors arrived at Fredensborg Slot in a carriage from the Royal Stable Agency escorted by the Guard House Regiment’s Horse Escort...” in a statement from the Danish royal court.

Prior to the reception, each new ambassador presented their credentials to Her Majesty in a sealed envelope only then can an ambassador carry out his or her work in Denmark.
