On Thursday, May 5, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the 25th anniversary of the law of May 5, 1997, relating to the coordination of the federal policy of sustainable development with the Minister of Climate, Environment, Sustainable Development, and Green Deal, Mrs. Zakia Khattabi. 

The event is entitled, 25 years of Sustainable Development Policy: A Look at the Past and the Future. Her Majesty is an Advocate for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Honorary President of the Federal Council for Sustainable Development.
