On the early morning of Monday, April 25, 2022, His Royal Highness Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester participated in a remembrance service to mark Anzac Day held at the New Zealand War Memorial at Hyde Park in London, England.

Anzac Day commemorates Australian and New Zealander military service members, originally those of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC), who served in the Gallipoli Campaign during World War I.

During this morning’s dawn remembrance service, the 77-year-old Duke, who is Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin, listened to various speeches and placed a wreath at the memorial after the Haka was performed.
