On Monday, April 11, 2022, it was announced that Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will visit Canada in May 2022 in celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year.
During their three-day royal tour Their Royal Highnesses will visit Newfoundland and Labrador, the National Capital Region, and the Northwest Territories. This will be the 19th visit to Canada for The Prince of Wales and the 5th visit for The Duchess of Cornwall. The royal couple’s most recent royal tour to Canada was “…conducted from June 29 to July 1, 2017, during which they visited Iqaluit, Nunavut; Trenton, Wellington and Ottawa, Ontario; and Gatineau, Quebec…” according to a press release via the Governor-General of Canada.
