On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain attended the 30th anniversary of the creation of the SAMUR- Protección Civil held at the Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid. The SAMUR- Protección Civil provides emergency services for the city of Madrid.

According to the Spanish royal court, during today’s celebration Their Majesties toured an exhibition that:

“… reflects, chronologically, the evolution of vehicles, uniforms, and emergency materials, as well as a sample of photographs. After visiting this exhibition, Their Majesties established radio contact on an open channel with a SAMUR…”
