Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and HRH Princess Isabella of Denmark Attend Sunday Service.

On Sunday, March 13, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark accompanied by her grand-daughter, Her Royal Highness Princess Isabella of Denmark attended Sunday service at Garnisonskirken in Copenhagen.

Next month — April 30, 2022 — Her Royal Highness Princess Isabella will be confirmed in Fredensborg Slotskirke. The confirmation takes place at 12:00pm with the royal Chaplain-in-Ordinary, Bishop Henrik Wigh-Poulsen presiding. After the confirmation, Princess Isabella will have a private celebration with family and friends.  

For the past 100 years, Fredensborg Slotskirke has been used for a large number of religious ceremonies for members of the Danish royal family. In particular, the church has been the setting for royal confirmations including Princess Isabella was christened at Fredensborg Slotskirke July 1, 2007.

HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and HRH Princess Benedikte of Denmark Attend the 2022 Dansk Varmblods Hingstekåring.

On Saturday, March 12, 2022, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark along with Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte of Denmark and her daughter, Her Serene Highness Princess Nathalie of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg attended the 2022 Dansk Varmblods Hingstekåring (Danish Warmblood Stallion Show) held at the MCH Messecenter in Herning. Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte is Patron of the Dansk Varmblods Hingstekåring.

In the evening, Crown Princess Mary attended the ECCO gala show, which “…began with a touching feature focusing on the war in Ukraine…” according to the Danish magazine, Billed Bladet.
