On the afternoon of Wednesday, March 2, 2022, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in London, England.
During today’s emotional visit the future king and queen met with Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom Mr. Vadym Prystaiko as well as members of the Ukrainian church and community.
On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales arrived at the University College Hospital in London to officially open the Grafton Way Building, a Cancer and surgery facility in London, England.
The new £380 million state of the art building has eight new theatres, a surgical ward, an imaging centre and a critical care unit. According the newspaper, Belfast Telegraph, The Prince of Wales toured:
“…part of the building and [meet] a young cancer patient midway through her PBT course, the prince gave an impromptu speech before unveiling a plaque to mark his visit.
He told staff, senior figures from University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and private supporters of the Grafton, ‘It is a remarkable achievement, and, for what it’s worth, I can only offer my congratulations to all those who played such an important part, let alone all those genius physicists who actually understand how the Proton Beam Therapy works, which is truly remarkable.’ ”

On the morning of Wednesday, March 2, 2022, Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain attended the 2022 Medallas de Oro al Mérito en las Bellas Artes held at the Palacio de Congresos y Auditorio de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain.
The Medallas de Oro al Mérito en las Bellas Artes is awarded to individuals and entities that have excelled in the field of artistic and cultural creation or have rendered notable services in promotion, development or dissemination of art and culture or in the conservation of artistic heritage.
