On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands visited the, organization, Blauwe Haven Rotterdam, in Poortugaal, Netherlands.
The Blauwe Haven Rotterdam provides a safe environment for police officers who are mentally stressed, overworked or who have suffered from PTSD. The organization employs current as well as former police officers and mental health professionals to assist those in need. The support offered at the Blauwe Haven Rotterdam includes: Support from colleagues, physical recovery training, therapy and much more.
During today’s visit Her Majesty Queen Maxima spoke with members of the Blauwe Haven Rotterdam, including supervisors, coordinators, and former police officers.
