On October 30, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands arrived in Tilburg to attend the conclusion of the European project, Requiem for Auschwitz.

According to PPE, purpose of Requiem for Auschwitz is to bring:

“…attention of the victims of the Holocaust, including 500,000 Roma and Sinti, and the contemporary situation of the Roma and Sinti community in Europe.”
