On Sunday, May 19, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan held a meeting with members of the Constitutional Court in Amman. His Majesty accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II met with a delegation from the Jordanian-Kuwaiti Parliamentary Friendship Committee.
During the meeting discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in various sectors, “…the latest developments in the Arab region the Syrian crisis, and the efforts to achieve peace between Israelis and Palestinians through the implementation of the two-state solution…” according to the Petra News Agency.
This morning His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II watched “…[various] military exercises conducted by the central military zone.”
And, finally, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan participated in the National Council for Family Affairs annual board meeting in Amman this afternoon. Discussions focused on the NCFA’s “…achievements and projects for the upcoming year.” Her Majesty is the Chairwoman of the NCFA.
