On the evening of February 5, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Mathilde of Belgium, in her capacity as Honorary President of UNICEF Belgium, attended the film presentation of Mr. Marc-Henri Wajnberg’s film, Kinshasa Kids, held at the Cinéma Vendôme in Brussels.

According to the Hollywood Reporter and Film Linc, Kinshasa Kids is about:

“… a group of street kids—kicked out of their homes for being “witch children”—in the titular Congolese capital. These ever-resourceful youngsters decide to form a band and team up with Bebson, an eccentric impresario and one-time recording star… Completely devoid of sentimentality and condescension, Kinshasa Kids celebrates and honors both the resilience of its young protagonists and the chaotic city in which they live.”
