On November 14, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands along with Their Royal Highnesses Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands attended the 2012 Erasmusprijs (Erasmus Prize) held at the Koninklijk Paleis in Amsterdam.
His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje, as regent/patron of the Praemium Erasmianum, presented the Erasmusprijs to “… American philosopher, Daniel C. Dennett” according to RVD.
