His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Interviewed on Télématin (VIDEO)

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco appeared on the French morning show entitled, Télématin, regarding his classic car collection that he inherited from his father, Prince Rainier III.

As you may know by now the sovereign prince decided to auction 38 of those classic cars through Artcurial Motorcars in Monaco.  Well, the auction took place this afternoon and at this time it is unknown which cars were sold etc, etc.

UPDATE:

The sale of the sovereign prince’s classic cars was a giant success to say the least. Apparently all 38 cars were sold “… for a total amount of 1.18 million Euros…” according to the newspaper La Figaro via Artcurial.    

The last car from Prince Rainier was a 1983 Mercedes-Benz 500, which was the most coveted, originally estimated between 15,000 and 25,000 Euros was sold for 117, 500 Euros.  

 The 1913 Panhard & Levassor X19 Roadster, estimated between 25,000 and 35,000 Euros sold for 81, 300 Euros. The 1956 Bentley S1 Sedan sold for 58, 800 Euros. And, the 1942 Dodge 4×4 Command sold for (double its price) 58,800 Euros.
