In honor of Princess Martha-Louise of Norway’s 40th birthday the Norwegian television network, NRK, recently sat down with the princess to talk about everything under the sun.

The amazing Princess Martha-Louise of Norway was recently in Copenhagen, Denmark to attend a seminar having to do with channeling angels and psychic medium stuff. Anyway, whilst in the city the princess held a book signing for her bestseller, Meet Your Guardian Angel.
Meanwhile, her brother, H.R.H. Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, is currently in Dalian, China to participate in the Young Global Leaders Summit. The event ends on September 16, 2011. Click here to learn more about this important gathering.

Ah, Princess Martha-Louise of Norway! You gotta love this woman… she is amazing. Not only does she talk to Angels, she is also a best-selling author, a Princess, has a great family, active in various charities in which she is willing to do anything to raise awareness for various causes close to her heart. Her passion to help others led her to do something most people wouldn’t dream of.
So what did she do this time? Well, she jumped out of an airplane.
According to the official website for the royal house of Norway, Kongehuest.no, the purpose for leaping out of plane into the giant blue sky, at 3,800 meters, was to encourage those who are disabled to become more active in sports, a campaign first organized and developed by the Norwegian Sports Association.
Once her feet were planted firmly on the ground, Princess Martha-Lousie reflected on her terrifying tandem jump with an experienced skydiver, “…the worst was right after we had jumped out of the plane, then it was a little scary, but it was also too late to do anything…”

On February 13, 2011, Princess Martha-Louise of Norway, along with co-author Elisabeth Samnoy, were in Italy to promote their book, Meet your Guardian Angel.
The dynamic duo, who talks to angels, were invited to the Italian talk show, Alle Falde Del Kilimangiaro, on RAI television network.
Princess Martha looked adorable in a gold-embroidered jacket, black dress, black tights, and no so attractive tan heels. No, she’s not color blind, she just likes to dress funky. Any way, the quirky Princess had a long Q&A with the TV host, Licia Colo, including how others can get in touch with their own Guardian angels which, in turn, can help them in everyday life.

The amazing Princess Martha-Louise of Norway (you know, the one that talks to angels) will be hosting a Christmas concert special at the Vang Kirke entitled A Christmas Concert from Norway. The special will air on PBS here in the United States! Yay!
She, along with some other dude, will be sharing “… a very special Norwegian Christmas tradition…” which includes lots of music, folk stories, and other stuff to get you into the holiday spirit.
The one hour special will air on PBS on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Yup, you heard me correctly. Princess Martha Louise of Norway talks to angels… as in those pretty things in heaven who have wings on their backs and protects us from bad stuff.
The alternative royal, as some call her, was in Germany yesterday to promote her new book Meet Your Guardian Angel. The odd yet extremely lovable princess also made an appearance on a German talk show to discuss — what else — her book.
Now, I have to tell you that I love this woman. Not only is she funny, and let’s face it she’s the Shirley Maclaine of royals, but she also has a heart of gold. Like her brother, Crown Prince Haakon of Norway (he’s freaking HOT by the way), Martha Louise is a progressive royal. She doesn’t believe in the stuffy trappings of royal life nor does she put on airs as if she were better than other people. Nope. This modern princess is a regular gal who works like the rest of us. Martha Louise is incredibly strong-willed, fiercely independent, and lives a normal life with her husband, Ari Behn (who also happens to be a cross dresser. No, it’s true. Really it is.)
Hopefully, we will hear more about Martha Louise in the future!
