Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Visit California?

It was announced this morning, via St. James’s Palace, that T.R.H.s The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit California from July 8 – 10, 2011.

According to Reuters:

The 28-year-old second-in-line to the British throne has never visited the United States in an official capacity, although he has made private trips to the country in the past. Catherine, 29, has never been there, royal officials said.

Details of the California trip have not yet been released.

YAY!  Let’s hope they will come to Los Angeles during their three-day trip to bankrupt California!  :)

Official Royal Wedding Photos of Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Plus Other Information

On April 30, 2011, Clarence House released the official royal wedding photos of Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Please click the link to view lots of unreleased images via Clarence House and the official website for the British monarchy here.

In case you were wondering, these official photos were taken inside Buckingham Palace in the Throne Room.

It was also announced that the Duke and Duchess will take their honeymoon on a later date (supposedly at the end of this year.)  The reason for the delay, according to the BBC, is that The Duke of Cambridge (William) must report for work with the RAF on Monday.  Per the BBC’s Peter Hunt:

For a prince who’s desperate to lead a near “normal” life, the discussion about the decision to delay the honeymoon is another reminder of just how much scrutiny he and his wife will be subjected to.

Within moments of the announcement of their delayed honeymoon, theories were being advanced as to the reason. These included not wanting to be seen sunning themselves at a time of austerity; William’s commitment to his job; and a desire to play cat-and-mouse with the media.

In the meantime, the couple spent last night at Buckingham Palace and this afternoon were whisked away, via helicopter, to an undisclosed location in the United Kingdom.  To watch a video of the couple from this morning, outside of Buckingham Palace,  please click the link here.

H.R.H. Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton in Lancashire, England

On April 11, 2011,  H.R.H. Prince William of Wales and his fiancée, Catherine Middleton, decided to make one last official appearance together before they tie the knot at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011.

So what did they do?  Where did they go?  Well, the couple, along with their bodyguards and other VIPS, were in Lancashire to officially open the new school, Darwen Aldridge Community Academy.   Even though it was raining the couple were in good spirits meeting the students as well as the hundreds of onlookers who cheered the couple on as they made their way through the handshaking thingy line (gawd, I hope that made sense.)

Anyway…

James Blunt Will NOT Play the Damn Organ During the British Royal Wedding: He Was “Kidding” What ever, Jackass.

Yeah, well the pain in the ass singer who belts out annoying and otherwise crappy songs from hell that only 40-year-old bored housewives listen too LIED about playing the organ at Westminster Abbey during the upcoming British royal wedding on April 29, 2011.

You see, Mr. Blunt is a humorless jackass and an attention manwhore who thought it would be funny to announce to the gullible press (including Moi) that he was personally asked by HRH Prince William of Wales and his fiancée, Catherine Middleton, to play the organ during their wedding ceremony.

Idiot.

Anyway per E! News online:

[Jackass James] …decided to help the media out by starting his own rumor, announcing he will perform for Wills and his bride as they stroll down the aisle April 29.

“I’m actually playing,” he confided to Italian news channel Sky TG24. “I’m not singing, I’m playing the church organ there.”

It would be an, um, interesting choice, but could it be true? Hang on to your fascinators, this rumor is…

So false! But nice try, James.

Blunt made the supposed announcement while promoting his new album, Some Kind of Wonderful, and it apparently worked a treat—various European outlets, salivating at the prospect of some actual royal wedding news, repeated his comments as fact. As did Entertainment Weekly.

The only problem? He was kidding.

A rep for Blunt told E! News that the singer-songwriter was simply joking, that it was “just his humor” and that James will actually be touring in the United States at the time of the wedding.

And it’s safe to say he definitely won’t be getting an invitation now.

Now, it is clear why everyone hates you and your sappy music, James.  You suck on all levels of life.

According to ABC news, singer James Blunt will be playing the organ at Westminster Abbey during the British royal wedding.

Mr. Blunt, best known for his uber-annoying song You’re Beautiful, noted, “I’m actually playing. I’m not singing, I’m playing the church organ there…” Thank the lawd he’s not singing that annoying song I just mentioned at HRH Prince William of Wales and Catherine Middleton’s wedding.
