According to the Danish newspaper, Sjællands Nyheder via the Expressen, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark will attend the funeral of Her Royal Highness the late Princess Lilian of Sweden, The Duchess of Halland on Saturday, March 16, 2013.
The newspaper also notes that Her Majesty Queen Anne-Marie of Greece and Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte of Denmark will accompany Her Majesty to the funeral. However, the Danish royal court has not confirmed Her Majesty’s attendance at this time.
The funeral for the late Princess Lilian will take place at the royal palace in Stockholm. She will be buried at the royal cemetery in Haga.
