On March 1, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Marie of Denmark visited the Aarhus University Hospital’s, Skejby, HIV department.
Per the Danish royal court (rough translation):
“Princess Marie, as patron of the AIDS Foundation, visited the Youth Group (at the hospital) a support group for young people living with HIV. During the visit the princess met with three young people living with HIV. Each of the patients shared their stories and the challenges they face in everyday life with the princess.
Princess Marie also learned about the research on a new HIV vaccine and a HIV cure, both of which have received AIDS Foundation research grants.”
