The Royal Correspondent

On Saturday, December 8, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark arrived in Beijing, China for a one-day visit.

The crown prince couple toured the new Red Brick Contemporary Art Museum where they had a chance to view several exhibition’s by Danish artists.  From there they visited a ”… Danish gallery in the 798 International Arts District…” and visited the Lego  Education center.

Afterward, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the launch of “… Arla’s new product in China at the Danish Embassy …”, attended a fashion show which featured several Danish designers, and attended a gala dinner at the Kempinski Hotel.

On Thursday, December 6, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duchess Maria Teresa and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg attended a gala concert at the Philharmonie de Luxembourg.  The concert “… benefited the SOS Village d’Enfants Monde…”  

According to the Luxembourgish newspaper, Wort, proceeds from the gala concert will be donated to the SOS Village d’Enfants Monde in Capre Verde, which “… offers support to 540 children and 160 families on the islands of São Vicente and Santiago.”

Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima of the Netherlands was in Rotterdam on December 7, 2012, to rename the new “…LNG  environmentally friendly gas tanker, Coral Energy …”
