On Tuesday, October 23, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II and His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark along with Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary and Their Royal Highnesses Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark welcomed the President of Slovakia, Mr. Ivan Gašparovič and his wife, Silvia, to Denmark.
President Gašparovič’s state visit to Denmark will focus on:
“… further development of economic and commercial relationships, especially in the areas of innovation, green technology and energy efficiency.”
In the evening, Her Majesty hosted a gala state banquet at Fredensborg Slot in honor of President Gašparovič’s visit to Denmark.
