On October 17, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco arrived in Warsaw, Poland for three-day official visit. Upon their arrival the princely couple were welcomed at the Presidential Palace by the President of Poland, Mr. Bronislaw Komorowski and his wife, Anna.
In the afternoon, the princely couple visited the Pilsudski Square where the sovereign prince laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Then the prince and princess participated in a lunch meeting with the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Economy, Mr.Waldemar Pawlak.
Afterward, the sovereign prince met with “… the Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament (Sejm) Ewa Kopacz and Speaker of the Senate Bogdan Borusewicz.” Prince Albert II also participated in a roundtable meeting with “…Polish company leaders at Sobianski Palace.”
And, finally, in the evening Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene attended a gala dinner held in their honor at the Presidential Palace.
