His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark Participates in a Race.

On the morning of Sunday, October, 7, 2012, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark participated in the 2012 Merida MTB Marathon.

Over 1,800 racers took part in this grueling mountain bike race which began in Hillerød.  When asked how he felt about today’s race the crown prince replied:

“My time was 5 hours and 29 minutes, slightly better than last year when I finished at 5 hours and 30 minutes. The course went fine, except that I had a single pucker along the way. It was a really good race, with a better than normal startup procedure. The entire organizational work was perfect and I give great credit to all the volunteers for their fantastic job.”

Yes, it is Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark. It is from several years ago when the crown prince participated in another difficult bike race. :)
