On the morning of October 4, 2012, His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark was at the Holstebro Kaserne (barracks) to visit the Jyske Dragonregiment (Jutland Dragoon Regiment). Whilst there the prince met with soldiers and toured the base. Click here to view photos.
Afterward, Prince Henrik visited the Jesperhus Blomsterpark and then attended the Klassiske Dage International Music Festival in Holstebro.
The prince participated in the festival’s France in Music and Poetry Opening Event by “… reciting his own poems…” in front of an appreciative audience. Attendees at tonight’s event also listened to classical music by various French composers, dined on delicious French cheeses, chocolates, sipped on French wine and “… champagne served by the wine maker Xavier de Mentque…”
