On September 27, 2012, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark presided over the opening of the 2012 Carnegie Art Award held at Sophienholm in Lyngby, Denmark. Finnish artist, Heikki Marila won the top prize this year. While Swedish artist, Ann Edholm, recieved the second prize. For more information about the 2012 Carnegie Art Award please click here.
