On September 27, 2012, Her Royal Highness Princess Marie of Denmark was at the Odense Rådhus to participate in the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Danish Epilepsy Association.
Upon her arrival the princess was greeted by the Deputy Mayor of Odense, Mr. Peter Juel, the Danish Epilepsy Association’s National Chairman, Mr. Lone Kristensen, and Epilepsy Centre Director, Mr. Jens-Otto Skovgaard Jeppesen. During today’s celebration the princess and the guests listened to Odense Friskoles Children’s Choir as well as dined on delicious Danish foods.
When asked about today’s celebration Mr. Lone Kristensen replied:
“Fantastic! We have always had a little difficulty getting known to stand (hence awareness and/or publicity) for the epilepsy society. I am so pleased that Princess Marie would come and support and raise awareness about epilepsy and the association…”
