On September 19, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden arrived in Washington D.C. for a three-day visit. In the evening she attended a dinner with Swedish Ambassador to the United States, Mr. Jonas Hafström.
Today, Her Majesty met with “… students from Phelps Architecture, Construction and Engineering High School…” and visited the Cesar Chavez Public Charter School in Washington D.C.
This evening Her Majesty, along with Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine of Sweden, attended the Mentor Foundation International gala dinner held at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Guests included Their Royal Highnesses Prince Abdul-Aziz bin Talal bin Abdul-Aziz al Saud and Princess Sora of Saudi Arabia, Swedish Ambassador to the United States, Mr. Jonas Hafström and his wife, Eva, as well as dozens of local dignitaries.
