On September 5, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II and His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark visited Bornholm as part of their end of the summer cruise aboard the royal yacht Dannebrog.
Upon their arrival the royal couple were greeted by hundreds of well-wishers and government officials. On the agenda for today, Her Majesty and Prince Henrik attended a reception held in their honor, laid a wreath at the monument to the fallen soldiers at Almegårds Barracks, had lunch at the Stammershalle Badehotel, attended a concert at Hammershus, and much more.
