On Sunday, September 2, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II and His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark began their summer cruise aboard the royal yacht, Dannebrog. The royal couple arrived in Skanderborg where they were warmly greeted by local government officials as well as hundreds of well-wishers.
On the agenda today was a lovely luncheon, hosted by the Mayor of Skanderborg, a visit to the Skanderborg Museum, a tour of the 500-year-old mill, and much more.
