On the morning of August 28, 2012, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia participated in a working meeting, held at the royal palace in Stockholm, regarding the World Child and Youth Forum.
Afterward, Their Majesties along with Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended the 2012 Polar Music Prize held at the Stockholm Concert Hall. This year’s recipients of this prestigious award are singer/songwriter, Mr. Paul Simon, and cellist, Mr. Yo-Yo Ma.
